  • Just scroll to the bottom of this page. Once you are an EE customer and your Broadband has been activated, come back to this page, scroll down and you will see the words 'Register & Download' at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, just go to Help and follow our simple step-by-step guide.
  • You will need to register with Norton and create an account. This will involve adding your payment details. You won't be charged for the first year's subscription to Norton Security Premium. You will get a half-price discount on the following year's subscription.
  • Once you've created an account, Norton Security Premium will be ready to download on the device you used to create an account. To add Norton Security Premium to more devices, simply select 'Add Device'.

  • Microsoft Windows 8/8.1 (all versions). Some protection features are not available in Windows 8 Start screen browsers.
  • Norton Security includes all of its protection features while browsing in the Windows 8 desktop. Internet Explorer-specific protection such as Norton Safe Web, Antiphishing, Scam Insight Safe Search and Identity Safe are not available when using browser apps on the Windows 8 Start screen.
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (all versions). Edge browser not supported.

Mac Operating Systems

  • Current and previous two versions of Mac OS X. Password Management feature not supported.
  • Norton Family and Norton Family Premier features not supported.

Android Operating Systems

  • Android 2.3 or later. Must have Google Play app installed.

Switching to EE Broadband
Will I be able to keep my existing phone number?

You can usually keep your phone number. If you provide us with your existing phone number when you're completing your order online, we'll let you know.

How long will it take for my Bright Box router to arrive?

Your Bright Box and Quick Start Guide will arrive by post before your Broadband switches to EE. You won’t need to wait in for a delivery, as the Bright Box has been designed to fit through most letterboxes.

What if I need a new phone line?

If you need a new phone line, simply tick the box requesting an appointment with an engineer when making your online order, and we'll be in touch as soon as this has been arranged for you. A standard installation charge of £50 will be added to your first bill.

Is the broadband data allowance really unlimited?

Yes. Unlimited means unlimited. Customers on any unlimited Fibre or Broadband plan have an unlimited data allowance. This means you can browse, download, stream videos and play games online without worrying about usage caps or extra costs. For more information check our Traffic Management Policy.

Broadband from EE - Offers & Legals

The price of your monthly plan will increase each April based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published in January. Annual price increase based on the full price of your plan. Please note the cost of additional services you take from us may increase or decrease while you’re an EE customer.

Equipment: We will own the broadband router we provide to you until 14 days after activation of your broadband service. After that, you own the router. If you choose to cancel within the 14 days, you will be required to return any equipment received and may have to cover the cost of return.

Average speeds of 10Mb/s, 36Mb/s, 67Mb/s, 145Mb/s and 300Mb/s based on speed available to at least 50% of customers at peak time (8-10pm). Speeds vary by location and will depend on how far you are from the nearest street cabinet that connects you to our network and how many other people are using the network at the same time as you. Fibre and Fibre Max offers: Available for customers living in our fibre network area. Our Fibre Max broadband plans use a technology known as “G.fast”, so to join one of these plans, you’ll need to live in an area which is enabled for G.fast. Consumer plans only.

Fibre Max 2 (average speed of 300Mbps) is up to 28 times faster than UK standard broadband: EE Fibre Max 2 Broadband average download speed of 300Mbps compared with the UK average download speed for standard broadband (ADSL) of 10.4Mbps from the Ofcom report on UK home broadband performance, November 2018 (published May 2019).

Fibre Max 1 (average speed of 145Mbps) is up to 13 times faster than UK standard broadband: EE Fibre Max 1 Broadband average download speed of 145Mbps compared with the UK average download speed for standard broadband (ADSL) of 10.4Mbps from the Ofcom report on UK home broadband performance, November 2018 (published May 2019).

Data Boost: 5GB available to: (1) new and existing pay monthly phone customers on a SIM plan (minimum 12 month term), (2) new and existing customers on a 4G pay monthly phone plan who sign up to Standard, Fibre or Fibre Plus Broadband, or 4GEE Home (3) new and existing customers on a 5G pay monthly phone plan who sign up to Standard broadband. 20GB available to: (1) new and existing customers on a 4G pay monthly phone plan who sign up to Fibre Max Broadband (2) new and existing customers on a 5G pay monthly phone plan who sign up to Fibre, Fibre Plus or Fibre Max Broadband, or 4GEE Home. 5GB/20GB boost added to mobile only and cannot be added to 4GEE Home device. Apple TV 4K with BT Sport: available to EE pay monthly mobile and 12 and 24 month SIM plan customers signing up to a new broadband plan. If you cancel your pay monthly mobile plan your access to BT Sport will continue while you remain on your current broadband plan. Your access may be temporarily disrupted when your mobile service ceases. If you have BT Sport as an add-on or a Swappable on a Smart Plan, it will be removed from your account. Subject to credit check. 18 month minimum term applies. Consumer plans only. You own the Apple 4K TV equipment 14 days after activation of your broadband service.

BT Sport: Initial registration must be carried out on a smartphone containing an EE SIM. Devices must use at least Android 4.1, Windows 10 or iOS 9 operating systems. Some in-app functionality is restricted on Windows 10. After registration your BT ID can be used to access BT Sport on your Apple 4K TV and other compatible devices. Stream on up to two compatible devices simultaneously. You’ll need a TV licence for the household registered to your EE account. BT Sport is for your personal, non-commercial use in the UK. You must not attempt to share, edit or adapt the content made available to you. It’s your responsibility to ensure that content accessed by under 18s is suitable for those viewing it. Content available on the BT Sport app may change from time to time. When you download and use the BT Sport app on a mobile device, you will use data that may decrement from your price plan’s inclusive allowance.

Apple TV 4K: Not all content is available in 4K or 4K HDR. HDR compatible device required. 4K resolution requires 4K-capable TV. Accessing Dolby Atmos features requires Dolby Atomos-capable devices. Third party subscriptions may be required to access some content.

Apple TV+ Only one Apple TV+ offer per Apple ID and only one Apple TV+ offer per family if you’re part of a Family Sharing group, regardless of the number of devices you or your family purchases. Up to 6 family members can share one Apple TV+ subscription through Family Sharing.

Beginning November 1, you can initiate the one-year free offer in the Apple TV app on the device running the latest software. To see the offer appear, you will need to sign in with your Apple ID on your new device. You have three months after first setting up your device to claim the offer, or if the device was purchased and set-up before the launch of Apple TV+, you will have three months starting November 1.

Upon claiming the offer, you commit to a monthly subscription that starts immediately after the 1 year free, and automatically renews at £4.99/month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings at least a day before each renewal date.
